Here at the Cantina we love lazy weekends with good food, red wine, and lots of laughter.  This is a place I'd like to share some of those moments of life and love with our wee little family.

Louis is a chef by trade and ultimate renaissance man in all other matters of life...the first one to a sarcastic joke, but also to help a stranger push their car out of a ditch. Sometimes he's funny, he's always ethical to a fault, and, in my humble opinion, pretty dang handsome. We met my senior year of college, when he lived across the street and asked if I needed help moving in. I don't normally accept help, but he was really cute. We didn't start dating until two years later though when we saw each other at an alumni dance. The next day he asked for my number, a few months later he moved to Philly from upstate NY to be with me. We lived together in Philly for a few years until deciding to move back to NY to be closer to family (and to start our own!).

Our puppy, Zuzu Bounce ("Bonce"), is resident Diva. She gets eggs everyday (over easy) and she sleeps with her head on no less than four pillows. Somehow always manages to get super dirty, but at least she really likes water to get the grim off. Loves to be in the middle of everything. Love is probably an understatement there, she's better than a chastity belt.

Doc - our tuxedo cat - affectionately known as our little 'a**hole' but really is super loveable and he can't help that he loves to eat.

Banksy - our black cat - is a bit skittish, only into women and fuzzy blankets, has the worst case of halitosis, and has a white 'x' to mark the spot.

And then there's me, Patty, a biomedical engineer who works in corporate quality and greatly misses her creative side; dreams of quitting to become a writer and artist though the practical side always seems to win. Maybe one day.

Behind the Name:
"Cantina" translates from Italian to English as "cellar" or "winery" and "Rosato" translates to "pinkish." I love wine, I love being a Rosato, and we bought a pink house. Hence, the name is born.
